Site Preparation
Level the site and install concrete footings.
Stump Length
Measure & cut stump tube to correct lengths to create level foundation for the deck.
Stumps on Footings
Position and fix stump bases to tops of footings.
Stump Tops
Screw the stump tops to the stumps.
Box Bearer Assembly (Part 1)
Screw the Open Box Bearer ("D" bearer) sections to stumps.
Joist Bracket Set Out
Mark out the joist bracket locations on the "E" bearer sections at 45 centimetre intervals.
Box Bearer Assembly (Part 2)
Form "boxed-beam" bearers by nesting the E section bearer inside the D section bearer.
Add the Joists
Screw the joist brackets on to the bearers. Screw the joists to the joist brackets.
Decking
Install your preferred decking material (not included) and enjoy your deck.
Customizations
Uneven Ground
Even if your yard isn't perfectly flat, your deck can be. Just cut the posts to level things out, or use our longer post when you need more height.
Pro Tip: On slightly uneven ground, use gravel or cement tiles under the posts to even out the height.
