- Order and configuration details — the deck dimensions, materials and options you select, and your order history.
- Payment information — card and billing details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card number on our systems.
- Usage and device data — information collected automatically when you use the site, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and interactions, via analytics and cookies (see section 5).
2. How We Collect Your Information
- Directly from you — when you complete a quote or custom build, fill in a form, checkout, email us, or use our chat widget.
- Automatically — through cookies and analytics tools as you browse the site.
- From third parties — for example our payment provider may confirm a payment result to us.

We use your personal information to:
- Prepare quotes and process and fulfil your orders;
- Arrange and coordinate delivery of your steel deck kit;

4. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted third parties who help us operate our business, and only for the purposes described above:
- Payment processing — Stripe, to securely process your payment.
- Delivery — Stramit Building Products and related transport providers, to deliver your order.
- Hosting and storage — cloud infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centres located in the Asia Pacific (Sydney) region.
- Analytics and advertising — Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads), to understand site usage and measure advertising.
- Customer support — our chat widget provider (Chatbase), when you use on-site chat.
- Government bodies, regulators or advisers where required or authorised by law.
5. Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies and browser storage are used to keep your session and shopping cart working. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) help us understand how visitors use the site and measure our marketing. Information is stored on cloud infrastructure located in Australia (AWS Asia Pacific – Sydney). Some service providers (such as our payment and analytics providers) may process limited information overseas; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required to meet our legal and financial record-keeping obligations, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
8. Accessing & Correcting Your Information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
